Ponds and water features Unique to you.

  • Dream.

A new pond or water feature is a worthy investment to both your property and your lifestyle. We are passionate in creating focal points that our clients are truly proud of. Whether you have a planned creation that you would like brought to life, or dream of a pond and don’t know what options are available, we have the experience and vision to bring them to reality.

  • Design.

Some pond contractors will only ask for a couple of pictures and dimensions and provide an estimate. We like to dive a little deeper than this. Once you have made initial contact, I will arrange a telephone consultation to discuss your requirements further. There are many considerations to take into account, and these can make costings vary. During this conversation, I will be able to provide a rough estimate to allow you to make an informed choice regarding budget..

  • Visit.

Following on from the telephone consultation, I will arrange a site visit with ALL decision makers present. This is a chargeable service, with the cost deductible from your final invoice if you decide to proceed. Accurate measurements will be taken, and we will take the time to discuss details of your bespoke project. The visit usually takes around 2 hours and will allow us to provide a full, detailed quotation to your requirements. Drawn plans are not something we provide as standard, although if required these can be arranged at cost.

Thinking points for your new pond…

When planning a new feature or pond there are many details that should be carefully considered during the initial design phase to maximise the final results…

  • Is the feature primarily for fish or other wildlife? Or both?

  • Proximity to shade and trees, as neither make for a balanced pond.

  • Do you have pets or young children/grandchildren that would like to interact with the water?

  • Where do you sit in your garden, and how do you want to view the pond from there?

  • How much maintenance is practical for you?

  • Have you considered lighting if you use the garden at night?

  • Would you like to also be able to enjoy the feature from indoors? A kitchen window for example?

  • The overall size of the pond. In general, the larger the volume the better balanced the ecosystem, especially when stocking fish.
